Questions? We've Got Answers.
We make fixing your vehicle an easy and transparent process. Here's what you can expect at TriState Collision Center.
Where do I get a claim number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Just write it down and bring it in with you when you come for the estimate — we will do the rest.
Will the parts be ordered before I drop off my vehicle?
Unless your vehicle is found unsafe to drive, we generally order your parts at the time we write the estimate and schedule your repair, then supply rental or courtesy-ride information to expedite turnaround.
If my vehicle’s frame is damaged, is it a total loss?
Not necessarily. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company’s determined value. We use computerized measuring systems and can replace bent sections to restore factory specifications.
Can you match the paint color of my vehicle?
Yes. Today’s modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. We invest in advanced paint systems and regularly upgrade our technology to ensure accurate color matching.
Can I get other service work done while my vehicle is in the body shop?
Yes. Just let your advisor know what other work you would like done so they can make the necessary arrangements.
How long will the repairs take?
Your advisor will provide a time estimate. Occasionally additional damage is found during repair, which may extend the timeline — your advisor will keep you informed.
How will I know when my car is ready?
You will be notified as soon as your vehicle is ready to be picked up.
Is there a warranty on the repairs?
Yes. We provide a 1-year warranty on workmanship. Parts warranties vary by provider, and your insurance may offer additional coverage.
Do I have to pay a deductible, and to whom?
The deductible amount is determined by your insurance policy. It is paid to the cashier when you pick up your vehicle.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, plus cash and personal checks (pending authorization). We do not accept third-party checks.
